Fueled

You know those songs that speak right to you? It's as if the writer knew you personally. So do I. Music fuels me. As a kid, I would frustrate my mom because my music was non-stop. I have a playlist for EVERYTHING. Cleaning, road trips, morning drives while praising God, workouts, running - the list could continue much longer than you want to read. No matter the mood, no matter the time of day, no matter what may be on your heart, there's a song for that. The best have to be the songs that inspire. For me, it is the songs that no matter what your desire is, they seem to give you the push you need to pursue it. With a love for different cultures and the constant risk of being a business owner, travel and stepping out in faith speak to me. So as your plan your next getaway or business venture, click the link below to one of my all-time favorite songs and follow along with the lyrics I’ve posted. Find yourself ready to live with “no time to take a picture” and create experiences you won’t need a camera to remember (Shaw).

Gimme Sympathy – Metric

Get hot, get too close to the flame Wild, open space Talk like an open book Sign me up Got no time to take a picture I’ll remember someday all the chances we took We’re so close to something better left unknown We’re so close to something better left unknown

I can feel it in my bones Gimme sympathy After all of this is gone Who’d you rather be? The Beatles or the Rolling Stones? Oh, seriously You’re gonna make mistakes, you’re young Come on, baby, play me something Like, “Here Comes the Sun” Come on, baby, play me something Like, “Here Comes the Sun”

Don’t go, stay with the all-unknown Stay away from the hooks All the chances we took We’re so close to something better left unknown We’re so close to something better left unknown

I can feel it in my bones Gimme sympathy After all of this is gone Who’d you rather be? The Beatles or the Rolling Stones? Oh, seriously You’re gonna make mistakes, you’re young Come on, baby, play me something Like, “Here Comes the Sun”

Blessed are those whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. - Psalm 84:5
